Bruichladdich Dinner A Story in Smoke

An evening where craftsmanship met creativity.

Hosted for a select group of thirty guests, the Bruichladdich Dinner brought together storytelling, flavor, and innovation in one unforgettable night. Featuring a curated selection of whiskies from the Bruichladdich Distillery including Organic, Bere Barley, Port Charlotte, and their newly launched Octomore 15.2  the evening was designed to showcase the distillery’s bold approach to whisky-making through food, flavor, and experience.

Each course was paired with a different expression from the range, allowing guests to experience how texture and taste evolved across the Bruichladdich portfolio. The menu opened with a pani puri with chestnut and five spice, followed by ebi shrimp with teriyaki glaze, crispy avocado, and puffed rice. The second course featured red mullet glazed with parsnip, peas, and smoked beurre blanc, leading into chicken Wellington with Jamon Serrano, wild mushroom duxelle, and tarragon gravy with roasted corn. The evening ended with a pumpkin spiced cheesecake, coffee caramel ice cream, and candy cookie the perfect close to a layered and expressive tasting.

Two highlights that defined the night was The Octomore 15.2, introduced as a stand-alone serve that captured the distillery’s signature power and precision. The second was our custom cocktail, Rice Laddie  inspired by Bruichladdich’s coastal character, yet re-imagined with a Mexican twist. Made with a house-crafted horchata syrup, it revealed the whisky’s smoky and creamy notes in an unexpected way that became an instant favorite among guests.

The evening struck the perfect balance between warmth and excitement. Laughter, and curiosity, as guests explored how each whisky and pairing told its own story one of craftsmanship, creativity, and connection.
